This session got rescheduled three times due to rain and I was worried we weren’t going to fit it in before Amanda and Jeff’s baby was born, but on the third attempt, we finally had a beautiful sunny day. We had discussed many different location options before the session and had planned on a local park, but when Amanda mentioned that her husband loved old trees, I knew we had to do the session at Lichgate. This beautiful private property has turned into a nature preserve area and there are so many spots that are great for photos, but the star of the place is a giant old tree that has been around since the time of Shakespeare. I’m so glad we were able to squeeze the session in before their little girl was born; it’s so nice when I get to do a couple’s maternity photos and get to know them before the newborn session!
