I spent last Sunday morning with James, Sara, and Layla, and by the time our session was over, I didn’t want to go home! Layla is the cutest six month old with the most kissable cheeks, and not only did I get to love on Layla, but I got to love on Harry as well. Harry is their 7 year old American Bulldog. He was James and Sara’s first baby and he is the sweetest, most well behaved dog I’ve ever met. Layla and Harry were adorable together. I’m a sucker for babies with dogs, so this was definitely one of my favorite sessions ever.
This may be my favorite family portrait ever. I love the sweet interaction between the three of them.
Sara mentioned how much she loves Layla in her hooded bath towels, so we had to get a few shots in this adorable teddy bear towel. I love photos like these because even though the clothing isn’t traditional portrait attire, these are the type of photos that parents will look back at and smile because they will remember playing with their baby in the bath and how cute they were.
