It has been way too long since I’ve taken the time to blog any photos of my own baby (although I do have a cute Valentine’s day post coming up!) She turned 8 months old yesterday and I can’t believe how fast she is growing! We took a family outing to a local park yesterday, and right before we left, I decided to try to get some cute photos of my daughter while we were there. Once we got there, I had about 5 minutes to get these photos with Madeline. Even though it was such a short session, I am so glad I took the time to photograph these images and I’m looking forward to taking her outdoors for a more extended session this Spring. I will have to find the perfect balance between warm weather and photographing the session before she’s big enough to run away from the camera! I have been wanting to take some outdoor photos of her for awhile, because the 6-9 month age range is my favorite age for outdoor photos. I love outdoor sessions for babies who are sitting on their own. It’s so much fun to watch them look around and take everything in, and this age range is especially perfect for photos because they are usually happy and smiling and they usually aren’t quite crawling yet — this age range is likely to be the last for professional portraits where the baby is contained! Anyway, I wanted to take a break from sharing client photos to share three favorites from this mini session with my sweet baby girl.
