After photographing dozens of cake smashes for my clients over the last few years, it was so much fun to get to photograph one for my own little girl. Madeline turned one on June 9th and I can’t believe how this year has flown by! I was a photographer for 3 years before I was a mom and I always heard my clients talking about how time flies with your children but experiencing it first hand has been incredible. This has been the best year of my life and I can’t wait to see what the next year brings for us! I have some more client sessions to blog first, but at some point I will share photos from her birthday party as well.

Right after she tasted the cake, she smeared the icing all around and played with it.
She is big into sharing her food lately, so here she’s offering me a piece. (It tasted really good!)
