Megan Grace [Tallahassee, Florida Newborn Photographer]

I was so excited for Megan’s session and really looked forward to it. I had a great time with her mom during her maternity session, so I couldn’t wait to see the family again for Megan’s newborn session. Plus, after having so many newborns in May and June, I had a 6 week gap with no newborns, so I was definitely ready to snuggle another little one by the time Megan was born!

Aren’t these hanging name letters adorable? I’m going to have to remember these for when I have my own babies — I love them!

This may be the biggest newborn smile I’ve ever seen. I took the photo above with the name letters and then put my camera down. I glanced up and saw Megan grinning and threw the camera up and snapped as quickly as I could and somehow managed to catch her grin before she stopped. She has a seriously cute smile!

I found this newborn sized bed (it’s actually for American Girl Dolls but it works perfectly for newborns) on Etsy and was so excited to use it for Megan’s session. I love it! I can’t decide if I want to paint it white, distress it a little bit, or leave it as is.

Megan’s parents’ church sent her a beautiful bouquet of flowers in the hospital and her mom requested a shot with the flowers in it so she could show the church. I think it turned out pretty cute!

I love this shot of Megan’s daddy holding her in his hand:

And I can’t resist posting a photo of her proud big brother Christian. He was the biggest helper during our session. He’s only seven but he is so mature and gentle. He insisted on helping me carry in my props and blankets and he is just the sweetest little boy.
