At four weeks old, Pearl was double the age of the typical newborn I photograph. At this age, posed shots aren’t guaranteed because babies tend to startle easily and not sleep as soundly, making the posed newborn images difficult. Well, Pearl was a rockstar and we were able to get just as many poses as a one week old baby. She was just darling and I really enjoyed photographing not only Pearl but her adorable big sister Lucy, who is 18 months. Lucy also posed beautifully and cooperated with the photo session, which is not always the case with one year olds! I was so impressed by both of these girls. At only 18 months, Lucy is the sweetest big sister and just adores Pearl, and she was so well behaved! I can tell these two are going to be best friends as they grow up.
