I was so excited when I heard from Phillip and Miles’ mother about scheduling a spring session for them in the studio. I got to photograph Miles’ newborn session last summer and it was so great to see him again and see how much he had grown! Miles is just a few weeks younger than my daughter, so he was 8 months for this session, and it was really fun to compare all the milestones he is reaching. He was so cute cruising around the furniture in the studio! I was also really excited about this session because Miles’ big brother Phillip (age 5) was in school during Miles’ newborn session so I didn’t get to meet him last time. He is such a sweet little boy and a fantastic big brother! It was so much fun to watch the two boys interact together, and this session resulted in some of my favorite sibling photos I’ve ever taken.
This photo is my favorite — their huge smiles make me smile, too, everytime I see it!
This session was intended to be just for the boys, but Phillip asked his mom if she would take a photo with him and he was so sweet about it, she couldn’t refuse. I’m glad he did; Jian is gorgeous and I’m so glad she has this photo with her boys!
I prefer images in color 99% of the time, but this image was just made to be shown in black and white!
