Wow, it has been months since I’ve updated the blog… but I have the most wonderful reason. My daughter, Madeline Claire Johnson, was born on June 9th, 2012. She was 9 days late and I was so impatient to meet her, and of course, she was worth the wait. I was on maternity leave for about six weeks and have been photographing sessions since then but haven’t had much time to update the blog between juggling client responsibilities and being a mom. I was on the way to a session yesterday, thinking how lucky I am. If I have to leave my baby to go to work, it’s pretty wonderful to be able to be snuggling cute babies at work, photographing them, getting some more snuggles, and then going home to my sweet girl.
Here is Madeline’s birth announcement. The cover photo was taken by me and the back photos were all taken by the talented Kate at Bellflower Photography. I am so appreciative for her photographing Madeline at six days old!
